The submersible pump casing is a critical component. This component is made of copper alloy because it is the best conductor of electricity. It requires the special surface finishing treatment of de-scaling and de-burring operation to remove scale and the rounding of sharp corners to obtain surface roughness.
Mec Shot has recently designed, manufactured and exported an air-operated Pressure Blasting Machine to one of the world’s renowned companies in the field of electrical products.
The shot blasting machine works on the direct feed principle incorporated with the X-Y manipulator of nozzles for internal and external cleaning and revolving job on the PU rollers. The nozzle reciprocation through hydraulic arrangement ensures precise movement. The multi-blast nozzles fixed on hydraulic reciprocation stand de-scale and de-burr the submersible pump casing at one satellite position while the residual dust particles are air washed at another position respectively. Air-dust mixture further passes into Dust Collector where the dust particles are trapped in Pleated Filter Bags and the clean air escapes to the atmosphere. The dust trapped in Pleated Filter Bags falls in the Dust Bin due to reveres jet operation.
